I am a young, 22-year old photographer who loves to make photos speak for themselves and clients smile.
Interested in depicting aircraft as artistic and innovative as possible, not only the photography is what makes an image special, but also the post-processing. I am a true perfectionist when it comes to details, and thus you can expect nothing less but a beautiful set of finished photographs.
I truly believe that over-doing a fine set of images and distorting reality too much by using excessive artificial lighting or too much post-processing can easily ruin them, therefore I use natural light whenever possible and help to get the most out of it by using filters, gels and flashguns.
Holding a commercial pilot license myself, I have good knowledge of the aviation industry. I can assure you this makes a great difference over a commercial photographer without Jet-A running through his veins. I am aware of how the industry works, what people expect, and I do not just see a machine when seeing an aircraft.
I am based in Innsbruck, Austria, and frequently shoot at Innsbruck Airport and Samedan - St.Moritz Airport, two challenging alpine airfields with gorgeous backdrops.
Both regions are world-known for their winter tourism and outstanding skiing resorts nearby, therefore I get to shoot a great number of business jets over the year with some of the most amazing sceneries you can possibly get.
I started out with an EOS-5 film camera and I continue to use Canon equipment for digital photography today, using L-series lenses and the current world’s fastest body, the EOS-1D mark 3. With a shooting speed of 10 frames every second, the EOS-1D makes those special moments I pursue a real possibility.
I am available to travel worldwide and, if you are interested to discuss a possible assignment with me, you have my assurance that I will be looking to provide you with photography that not only suits your requirements but which also looks to go beyond your expectations.
