This mainly applies to stock photographs! In case you are interested in obtaining any kind of usage license for commercial or private use of my aviation photography material, I decided to give a rough guideline of what to keep in mind. Therefore, please take note of the following: 1) Commercial photo use will be charged. Factors influencing a price are usually the intended kind as well as the duration of use. For magazines or newspapers circulation, placement and intended size of the photograph(s) are important. For commercial aviation photoshoots, prices are calculated on case-to-case basis, depending on time spent at an assignment and exact needs. 2) I should ideally be credited upon publication of the image, stating the name ( Photo by Florian Trojer, www.floriantrojer.com, Copyright Florian Trojer or similar ) in, below or near the photograph. Of course, if you do not wish to state the photographer´s name, we can arrange this before publication. 3) Payment for usage normally has to be made before high-resolution photographs are sent out. In urgent cases a payment deadline will be set in the invoice you receive. For commerical photo assignments a non-refundable booking fee is required in advance. 4) Customers will always receive a written invoice ( email and/or printed version ), including terms and conditions of the contract agreed on. For photoshoots an estimate can be put together if you wish to receive one. An invoice is only valid for the agreement made before, and not for any other use. In the case of further intended use of the images a new permission has to be granted before publication. 5) Please note unauthorized use of any photographic material harms photographers and the business. In case you see photographs of which you think they could have been used without permission, kindly contact me. 6)The customer is kindly requested to send a complimentary copy of the product/publication to me for purposes of self-promotion, if possible. |
